A Message from our Head of school

All summer long as I watched a tired and unused warehouse be transformed into a beautiful new school building, two words kept coming to mind – “Gratitude and Grace.” What seemed like an impossibility less than a year ago has become a reality due to your tireless dedication, support, trust, kindness, and belief in our mission at GRACEPOINT School.  From the first mention of Piedmont Church expressing interest in our ministry partnership to today, our “ribbon cutting” ceremony, it has been an exciting journey. I continue to express to our students and staff the sincere and abundant gratitude I have for all that has been given to make our renovation and relocation possible.

It is indeed God’s perfect grace that aligned a series of miracles to give us this opportunity of relocation and renovation in order to provide our student body a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment in which to learn. Board members calling on local politicians, a bank officer who understands the journey of a dyslexic parent, a builder and architect who are willing to take on a “leap of faith” project, local businesses giving time and materials, and parents donating resources and services are just a few examples of how God placed certain people in the right places at the right time.

Our new facilities will not only allow our teachers to provide effective instruction comfortably for our existing students, but will allow GRACEPOINT School to grow and serve more children in our area with dyslexia.

Jon Gordon writes, abundance flows into our lives when gratitude flows from our hearts. Please know my heart overflows with gratitude.

With sincere gratitude,

Joy Wood
