Mrs. Hines

Barbara Hines joined GRACEPOINT in 2019.  She has a BA in Education of Hearing Impaired with a  minor in Elementary Education. After teaching hearing-impaired high school students, she began working with Sylvan Learning Centers and owned 3 of them in metro Atlanta.  After 10 years, she began teaching at a local Christian school.  During her 16 years there, she served as Head of School, Principal, Curriculum Director, and Admissions Director.  Mrs. Hines is trained in the Orton-Gillingham method for reading.  She currently teaches Language Arts and Social Studies to 6th and 7th graders.

Mrs. Hines and her husband Rob live in Smyrna and attend Smyrna Presbyterian Church.  She enjoys singing in the choir, reading, being at the lake, and gardening.
