Shea Baker

Shea Baker is in her second year as a 3rd grade teacher at GRACEPOINT. She grew up in Carrollton, GA and attended Mercer University, where she earned a BA in Marketing and International Business.  After several years in the marketing world, Mrs. Baker attended graduate school at Mercer University Atlanta campus where she earned a Master’s degree in Reading Instruction.  Mrs. Baker worked at Sarah Smith Elementary in Atlanta Public Schools for 12 years.   She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham method for reading.  

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family - her husband Bennett,  and two sons: Wells and Tate.  Mrs. Baker and her family attend Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.
