Happy Thanksgiving!

This week was amazing! Beginning with our Mystery Reader: Karen Barber, Ms. Barber's mother, we enjoyed hearing the story of Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse.

In Language Arts we read and discussed the story of One Small Place in a Tree . This expository story bought us interesting discussion resulting in excellent comprehension on our "Show What You Know" on Wednesday.

In my Math class we continue to make arrays in multiplication and played a multiplication card game of war. The third graders are doing wonderful work on their evening homework of IXL....keep up the fun practice!

Thursday we had an in house field trip...High Touch, High Tech. We learned how to investigate a crime scene, NCIS style.

We had a great week of song and dance as we practiced for our "Joyful, Joyful" performance that we performed for the parents at Friday's Thanksgiving feast. And what a performance that was! Can anybody say "AWESOME?"

Have an amazing holiday break, and thank you so much for allowing me the joy of teaching your children!
