Marni Carter, Math Department Chair

Marni Carter joins GRACEPOINT School as a 3rd, 6th, and 7th grades math teacher and also serves as the math department chair.  A Marietta native, Marni graduated from Kennesaw State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education. Marni taught for seven years at Belmont Hills Elementary in Smyrna, GA. She received her TESOL endorsement (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and she has recently used that certification in her work for the University of Georgia’s ESOL department. For the last two years she has worked as a coach for teachers working with ESOL students.  Marni is trained in Orton- Gilligham math methodology and looks forward to using hands on strategies to help students learn math concepts. She attends StoneBridge Church in Marietta.
