Review:

-spelling rules:

One syllable... one short vowel... followed by /ch/... it's a -t c h

One syllable... one short vowel... followed by /j/... it's a -dge!

One syllable... one short vowel... ends in f, l, s, or z... double it!

-syllable division

Focus of study: regrouping in addition, money, word problems, and skip counting to song by (2, 3, 4, 5, 10).

Review:

  • Write numbers in word form, standard form, expanded, and using base ten blocks

  • Place value and value of a digit

  • Even/odd

  • Greater than/less than

  • Rounding to the nearest tens, hundreds, and thousands
