Does your child struggle with reading, writing, and spelling? If you have a child or a student who has been diagnosed with dyslexia or a student or child you suspect may have dyslexia, this outreach event is for you. This presentation is designed to provide an overview of the following topics: characteristics of dyslexia, information on diagnosing dyslexia and information to better understand the most effective remediation interventions and accommodations. This is an open forum. Ongoing questions are encouraged.

This IDA-GA / DDGA Outreach Event will be held in the Commons Room at GRACEPOINT School (www.gracepointschool.org) in Marietta, GA. The event is free and open to the public. Please register to reserve your spot. Check-in will begin at 6:30 p.m. Program will start at 7:00 p.m.
