Hello Parents! I am finally Blog Trained!

It's been a pleasure getting to know your children.

We have worked on grammar and writing and will continue to do so,  but for now we have paused to begin our first novel study of the year.

We are reading From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg. It is an award winning book and one of my favorites. Your child's copy of the novel stays with them and they can reread the chapters we have done in class on Learning Ally (listening is great for tracking and comprehension!) and this counts toward their 20 minutes of reading homework.
