A Message from our Head of School

Welcome to GRACEPOINT School!

We are thrilled for you to see how we are equipping our students with the skills they need to succeed academically and otherwise as Dyslexic learners and thinkers.  Here at GRACEPOINT School we absolutely believe that Dyslexia is a gift. When the correct learning methods are used and taught, our students blossom academically and move forward in confidence.

GRACEPOINT has a warm and inviting atmosphere structured to assist our students in their academic remediation and confidence building, while learning to self-advocate for their individual learning needs.  We use the Orton-Gillingham approach to learning while immersing our students in systematic instruction that combines auditory, visual and kinesthetic teaching.  This creates an environment for greater success than the traditional classroom.

We are more than a school at GRACEPOINT.  We are a village of educators, administrators and parents fully committed to each child.  It is our greatest desire for each one to fulfill the purpose God has for him, or her.  You will find us to be unique in our processes, including exercise breaks incorporated into our day, opportunities for hands on learning, encouragement of hearts as well as minds and teaching not only academics, but also the skills our students will need to advocate for themselves going forward.

We are here for you!  Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns and how we can help you and your child navigate your school choices.

Thank you for visiting with us!

With sincere gratitude,

Joy Wood
