Beth Taylor joins GRACEPOINT as a 5thgrade teacher. A Pennsylvania native, Beth graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education- Learning Disabilities/Behavior Disorders. After 4 years of teaching in an elementary resource and self-contained classroom, she moved to Georgia. Beth taught special education in Paulding County for 8 years, 4 years at the elementary level and 4 years in middle school.
For the past 22 years, Beth has been working as a private tutor in Atlanta with primarily Westminster and Lovett students as well as students who have transitioned out of the Schenck School and the Atlanta Speech School. She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham method and is excited to be back in the classroom and to be part of the GRACEPOINT team and family.
Beth resides in East Cobb with her husband Paul and teenage son Nick. Her daughter Jillian recently graduated from the University of Georgia. She enjoys decorating, cooking and walking. Beth and her family are members of Catholic Church of Saint Ann.
