I hope you all had a wonderful time with family during the Thanksgiving holidays!

 

During our time in math together we have been working diligently on the steps to a long division problem.  We have used the sentence "Does McDonald's Sell Burgers?" to help us remember the steps.  D= Divide, M=multiply, S=subtract and B=bring down.   Homework will be coming home tomorrow to allow for extra practice with this skill.  

 

Continue to review the multiplication facts each night! 

During our time in Math together, we are learning about "Factor Pairs" and "Multiples"! 

 

The students are doing a great job with their FRECKLE accounts! Keep up the good work!  

Welcome back to school!! I'm thrilled to be leading your child's math group! We are so blessed at GRACEPOINT to be able to work in such small math groups. We have spent some time assessing and reviewing these first weeks of school, but we are moving right along with our first unit, Place Value! The students are doing really well! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns! I'm always available to you or your child. 

 

The students should be practicing those multiplication facts every night.  Starting tonight, they have homework to complete with their Freckle account.  I sent home their new login  cards today in the agenda.
