Lower School Homeroom Teacher/Classroom Teacher, Permanent Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our Christ-centered learning community serving students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences.

Position Summary:
The Classroom Teacher provides individualized, structured, and multisensory instruction in a supportive Christian environment. The ideal candidate fosters academic growth, confidence, and character development in each student. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured instruction using evidence-based dyslexia interventions for grade level curriculum and Orton-Gillingham reading instruction
  • Differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Adapt curriculum to meet individual student learning profiles
  • Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (teaching certification preferred)
  • Training or willingness to be trained in structured literacy (e.g., Orton-Gillingham approach)
  • Strong understanding of dyslexia and learning differences
  • Commitment to Christian education and Biblical values

Middle School ELA Teacher, Permanent Position

We are seeking a passionate and faith-driven Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our team at a Christian school serving students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences.

Position Summary:
The ELA teacher provides structured, multisensory literacy instruction in a supportive, classroom environment. This role focuses on developing reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills using research-based, dyslexia-informed practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver explicit, systematic ELA instruction using multisensory methods (e.g., Orton-Gillingham-based approaches)
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Understand how to manage and foster a middle school classroom that builds resilience, self-advocacy, and confidence, while also providing rigor.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to support student growth
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Training or experience in structured literacy/dyslexia intervention
  • Middle school teaching experience preferred
  • Commitment to Christian faith and demonstration of Christian principles in daily life

Requirements include:

  • Certification in Orton-Gillingham at Classroom Educator or Associate Level
