Missy Nichols joined GRACEPOINT in 2021 and is currently in her fifth year as a third-grade teacher here. Missy has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Secondary Education from UNG in Dahlonega. She has completed The Complete Reading Series and is certified as a Classroom Educator by the Orton-Gillingham Academy. Mrs. Nichols taught second grade at an international school in Azerbaijan while her family served there teaching conversational English. Her family lived overseas for 12 years in Russia, Germany, and Azerbaijan. After returning to the States in 2011, her family lived for nine years in Colorado where she taught at a Christian hybrid school teaching a variety of subjects from elementary to high school. Returning to Georgia in 2021 with her husband, Kelly, and their three children, became even more special with the great blessing of joining the GRACEPOINT family. Missy and her family attend Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville. Missy loves the opportunity at GRACEPOINT to let dyslexic students know they have been created by a great God in a wonderful way and to play a small role in seeing them become all God has created them to be.
