Mrs. Pugh

Phenette Pugh joined Gracepoint in the fall of 2025 and is passionate about Christ-centered education and helping students grow both academically and spiritually. She holds a Georgia Professional Standards Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, and received a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University.

 

Phenette has served in several leadership roles in Christian education, including Head of School, Principal, Director of Academics and Student Life, and Preschool Director. Over the years, she has taught or tutored students from preschool through high school and spent nearly ten years teaching Latin, a subject she continues to enjoy.

 

She loves sharing the knowledge of Jesus Christ with her students and celebrating those wonderful “aha” moments when learning clicks. Phenette is married to Ed, and they attend East Point Church. They have three daughters, a son in-law, and a grandson. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, cycling, photography, and deciphering Latin inscriptions.
