Mrs. Staton
Emmy Staton serves as the Director of Admissions at GRACEPOINT School, bringing a rich background in relationship-driven communication, marketing, and client advocacy. A Marietta native, she earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Communications/Public Relations and Marketing from Western Carolina University, where she attended on a tennis scholarship. Prior to joining GRACEPOINT, Emmy built a distinguished career as an award-winning Realtor with Ansley Real Estate, earning top corporate honors and lifetime membership in the Cobb Association of Realtors Multi-Million Dollar Club. Her professional journey has always centered on active listening, building trust, and supporting families through major life transitions.
Emmy’s connection to GRACEPOINT is deeply personal, as all three of her children attended the school. Having witnessed firsthand the transformative impact the school's educators had on her own family, she developed a profound appreciation for GRACEPOINT's mission and a strong passion for supporting students who learn differently. Though her work takes place outside the classroom, her approach to admissions is rooted in the belief that every student deserves to be known, understood, and empowered to thrive. She focuses on meeting families where they are and helping cultivate an environment where students feel confident in their unique strengths.
Outside of her role at GRACEPOINT, Emmy and her husband stay busy raising their three children and cheering them on at baseball, football, and volleyball games. She enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, as well as participating in local community events. Emmy views her work as a meaningful opportunity to walk alongside families, trust God's plan for every child, and help students discover the bright future ahead of them guided by Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
