Mrs. Guice

holly GuiceHolly Guice Holly Guice joined the GRACEPOINT family in 2015 as a substitute teacher and quickly fell in love with the school. She began teaching OG Reading, Math, and Music full time in 2016! Holly grew up in Rome, Georgia and met her husband, Merril, while attending The University of Georgia. They married in 1995. With a degree in Early Childhood Education, Holly taught preschool for several years. In 2001, Merril and Holly, along with their two children, felt called to overseas missions. They served in Thailand for two years, having their third child while there, and then spent five years in Central Asia after having their fourth child. While overseas, Holly taught English as a Second Language, conversational English to college students and professionals, and taught 2nd grade and Music in an international school. Upon returning to the states in 2011, Holly was very involved in a local Christian school where her children attended, coaching the competitive cheer team and serving on the Board for ten years. Holly continues to use her gifts and love for teaching children at GRACEPOINT, where each day she can pour God’s truth into the hearts of these students and help guide them with the tools needed to be successful learners.

One of her favorite Bible verses is Psalm 119:105, “Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
