Mrs. Ohlin

Alicia Ohlin started at GRACEPOINT in 2016 and has over 30 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools in grades ranging from Kindergarten to 6th grade.  Before coming to GRACEPOINT, her concentration was teaching Language Arts in the intermediate grades.

 

Alicia has a BS degree with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. She has also been trained and classroom certified in the Orton-Gillingham reading program.  She has taught OG reading to GRACEPOINT students for 6 years and currently serves in the OG office, supporting teachers and assessing students.

 

She and her husband have lived and raised their 2 daughters in West Cobb and have been members of St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 30 years.  In her free time, Alicia enjoys spending time with her grown children and 3 grandchildren. She loves to cook and read whenever she gets the chance.
