Mrs. Smith

Amy Smith has 17 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools where she has worked with children in 5th - 8th grade. She attended Kennesaw State University where she earned undergraduate degrees in English and English Education. During her years of serving as an educator, she has earned her Gifted Endorsement and Special Education Certification. More recently, she has been trained in the Orton Gillingham method of teaching and The Complete Reading Series. 

Amy and her husband live in Marietta with their daughter where they enjoy worshiping and serving together at their church as well as traveling. Her life verse is Deuteronomy 31:8 -- "For the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
