7th grade World History

7th grade continues its world tour by a quick review of our study in Geography, concentrating on longitude and latitude skills. We will then move for the majority of our year in Asia. Our first study will be of Southeast Asia with concentrated studies on the imperialism of Europe on India as well as a keen perspective of Communist China. Then we will turn to Southwestern Asia to view many of the Middle Eastern cultures, with a focus on the establishment of Israel and the OPEC agreement. Our final study in our 2 year journey will conclude on the continent of Africa. The changes in governments and boundaries, cultural diversities, the impact of Christianity and the brave leadership that changed the world.
