First Grade Announcements

Hello First Grade Families,

Thank you so much for an AWESOME first two days of school. A couple of announcements for you all as we enter into day 3:

Starting tomorrow, please send your student to school with two snacks. We will have a morning and an afternoon snack. Our crew is starving by 10:45, and we don't have lunch until 11:30-11:45 each day.
Many reading teachers began sending home blue folders today. Please ensure you practice their red word for homework.
Our classroom changes temperature frequently. A light jacket is suggested for cooler moments.
Today, our class voted on the reward we will be working together to earn. If we receive 5 points for positive behavior, we will earn a stuffed animal day.
Tomorrow is late start Wednesday. School begins at 9:15.
They may wear their spirit tee shirts tomorrow.

First Grade Families,

It was so wonderful to meet you all yesterday. I am very excited about our first day on Monday and our year together. Please remember to send a small personal bottle of hand sanitizer, a lunch, bookbag, and a refillable water bottle to school on Monday with your child.
