Reflection

We are all very mindful that we were ZOOMing from home this time last year at the very beginning of a worldwide pandemic. We hope that you and your family have a restful, relaxing, and rejuvenating time off from school.

Last week, all my boys received GRACE  POINTS  during morning pledges and prayer time from Mrs. Guice for helping her every afternoon before car line to move a table, cart, and several chairs into her classroom in preparation for the next day. The boys take this job VERY seriously and remember to do it on their own. It's a huge help to Mrs. Guice and she wanted to recognize the boys publicly for their servant hearts.  It's the FIRST time an entire class has received GRACE POINTS together. Well done, boys!

3rd Grade Week of February 1-5, 2021

Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of February?! It seems like January passed very quickly.

Here’s What is Happening This Week in Third Grade:

ELA

We are half way through our novel, The Wild Robot. Both the students and the teachers are loving this book as we watch Roz become more and more resourceful (our word of the month) at being a mother to Brightbill and a friend to all of the animals that inhabit the island. Roz is discovering that everything was designed for something. What a great biblical truth! Our God, the uncreated Creator, has designed all of us for a purpose. How exciting is that??? Ask your student to tell you about the book.
